Happy Halloween - Sort of!

Not a lot of excitement in our neck of the woods lately... Didn't Jack look cute in his Halloween costume?? Thank goodness we had a couple of opportunities to wear it before the big night! This picture was done a few days before when we went to the mall with his buddies to get all their pictures taken in their costumes - this one just turned out so cute I couldn't pass it up! He also got to wear his costume on the Monday before Halloween at a little party we had with a few of his friends and he did get to wear it for a bit on Halloween day at the library, but that afternoon he woke up from his nap with a very high fever and was not up for trick or treating... Poor guy - fingers crossed for next year! It was so pitiful - we put the big bowl of candy on our porch so we wouldn't infect the entire neighborhood and Jack just stood at the windows by the door watching and waving to the kids! So sad!
In other news - there's really not a lot to report. He's over the sickness, which seemed to be some sort of 24 hour bug and we've not really been doing a whole lot! We got to celebrate Grandpa's (my dad's) birthday the Sunday before Halloween. We had dinner with Nan and Poppy last Sunday - other than that not a lot has been going on! We have taken some cute pictures of the little guy so check the photosite for some updated photos! AND - check below for some video of his masterful counting skills!
