2 Year Check Up.
Charlie has survived her two year check up, which included a blood test (toe prick) and two immunizations... I think Charlie begs to differ on the whole survival front, but even though she is gingerly walking around and still quietly weeping to herself (still recovering from the full blown hysterical fit she threw after the shots) given that she is breathing she has survived.
The latest stats are:
Height 33.5in (39th percentile). Which means an estimated full grown height of about 5ft 5 (as long as she gets taller than me!!)
Weight 24lbs 9oz (22nd percentile).
And her big brain is in her 48cm head which puts her at the 63rd percentile. Must take after her daddy on that one because we all know I have a peanut head!
She did great at the check up - passed the autism test with a 100%. Impressed Dr. Bennett with her vocabulary... All in all it was good.
Her take on it - as I was getting her out of the car seat, "that dr. hurt my legs." Poor baby. I don't guess she'll be begging to have her ears looked at again any time soon. Which on a positive note looked good - we still have our follow-up with the ENT on the 18th concerning the ears.
Just to compare (and why else would have two children if not to compare them to each other??) Jack at two was 36in tall (85th percentile) 27lbs 10oz (45th percentile) and his head was 49cm (57th percentile).
In other news the kids are quite excited for the big games this weekend! Jack got so wound up after UKs win on Sunday that this happened... oh my.
GO BIG BLUE!! C A T S Cats Cats Cats! Thank goodness he didn't have a couch to burn!!
This is what Charlie does wither her horses... They're at the post!! Josh and Ben would be so proud.... I think she's going to really enjoy Keeneland this year!
Haven't seen the bunnies in a couple of days, but it's been so cold and rainy we're not really surprised by that... Check the photo site for some more pictures from the day of many sightings and from Jack's school... There will be more pictures from the SHELL Olympics posted soon - just have to get them off John's phone! Enjoy!
