Food Glorious Food

Last evening Jack got what he'd been waiting so long for - his first taste of real food! Of course saying that some rice cereal flakes mixed with breast milk is "real" food may be a bit of a stretch for some, but not to Mr. Jack! To say he loved it may be the understatement of the century! He was SO excited. He was kicking his feet and smiling and reaching for more - he enjoyed every second of it! He didn't eat much, just about an ounce or so of the mixture and I'm sure most of that ended up on the bib, but that's okay - it was all about the experience for him! Since he is just a little feller (and since it's not for nutritional benefit at this point) we're starting in slowly only doing the "solids" once a day until he really gets the hang of it.
