Contest Entry...

As you all know I'm not usually the kind of Mommy that feels the need to push my child's cuteness onto other people, but... there are exceptions to every rule! Last month we had Jack's picture taken and decided that we would go for it and enter the Yo-Baby Yogurt Baby Contest... Our entry is the picture to the left!! What a handsome boy, right? How could he not win! Well, we received word from Yo-Baby that they've received our entry and we'll be notified by Oct. 12th if he's a finalist or not - if he does become a finalist there will be an on-line vote for the winner... I'll keep you posted if he makes it!

As for other news: not a lot to report. We've been enjoying the cooler weather and have made several trips up to the neighborhood park where Jack is becoming more and more obsessed with the swing. We can only go when we know we have a LOT of time to spare because once he's in there's no getting him out!

Not a lot of excitement going on right now - just keeping busy and constantly being amazed by Mr. Jack - his vocabulary is exploding and he's starting to talk in little sentences... He's got to name everything and tell you who's it is. Jack's spoon, Mama's fork, Daddy's cup... He's got a running commentary for everything in his life!

Shoes!

I forgot to mention in my last post... Jack has again outgrown his shoes and I realized when purchasing his latest pair that our little boy is officially no longer a baby - or even a toddler for that matter! His feet are so big we had to buy his shoes in the BOYS Dept... can you believe it???

The little guy has been sick all week so nothing exciting to report from our end... check back soon for more updates!

Labor Day Weekend!

Not a lot of interest to report from our neck of the woods - just hadn't posted in a while so I thought I'd post some updated pictures!

We had a great time seeing out summer and had a fantastic three day weekend! Jack was so happy to have the extra time with his Daddy! We sure are going to miss the pool, but we had such a great time there over the summer! Jack's latest is jumping in and swimming under between the two of us... He loves going under! Demands it actually!

Not a lot else to report from our end - Jack's vocabulary is exploding... we've officially lost count of all the words he knows and it seems he's picking up new words every day! Nothing exciting coming up... I'll update again soon. Check the photosite for some updated pictures!
