Happy Birthday Jack!!

It's hard to believe our little boy is FOUR YEARS OLD!!! The 4th birthday has been a rather emotional one for Mom and Dad... 4 is officially a BIG KID... it's been hard to come to terms with! But, with that said - Jack had a FANTASTIC Birthday! It was a school morning, which is always great, and that meant he got to bring a special snack to school and have a little party with his classmates! He insisted on having an oatmeal raisin GIANT cookie with a dinosaur on it so that's what he got! He went on and on about how his classmates sang to him and we finally got to see the much talked about Birthday Crown! Excitement excitement! Once Daddy got home we did a couple of presents and then Jack had his pick of what he wanted to have for dinner. He was first thinking we would go to the Waffle House, but at the last minute changed him mind and decided on pizza (that's my boy!) so we packed up the ant farm and his new bug books (including one with the actual SMELL of a Stinkbug - thanks Nan and Poppy) and headed out to the pizza place! He was so excited when everyone acknowledged his birthday (hard not to considering he was, of course, wearing the birthday crown) and of course the best part of all was when they brought him a HUGE piece of cheese cake! Delicious!! So, it was a great birthday for the little man! Check back next week for pictures/updates about his party this weekend!

Latest Updates

We haven't been up to much lately. Lots of snow, lots of sickness... As I said in my last post both kids were dealing with ear infections over the holiday, little did we know at the time that both kids actually had RSV... so, a LONG couple of weeks later it seems that we are all finally healthy!!! Whew! It was actually kind of good timing to be so sickly as it was too cold to do anything anyway! Although Jack has enjoyed several trips out to play in the snow!

Oh, in Charlie news - it appears that she is FINALLY getting some teeth! She is working on two bottom teeth right now!
