Catching Up.

Well, Jack had a fantastic Easter! I hate to admit that he did MUCH better hunting eggs last year than this, but it's the truth!! This year he KNEW what was in the eggs so instead of putting them into his basket he just wanted to open them all right then and eat as much candy as possible... he had a blast at the Egg Hunt though and shockingly - was the ring leader of a group of four year olds... YIKES!

We've been keeping busy, but not doing much in the way of "excitement." Great Great Aunt Juanita and Pat are coming for a visit and Jack is very much looking forward to getting to go on a "trip" with them to a hotel where he can swim! Check back next week for updates on his "trip."

Check the photosite for a bunch of updated pictures and enjoy the videos below... one is from when Jasmine came back for a visit and he's walking her around playing the kazoo (LOVES the kazoo, or "elephant" as he calls it) and the other is of him being the ring leader at the egg hunt... Enjoy!

SNOW!!

What Fun! We finally got some good snow and Jack had a BLAST playing in it! It was really cold so we didn't get to play for long, but we ventured out two times on Sat.! The best part was definitely getting to come inside and have some hot chocolate with MARSHMELLOWS!! Oh, marshmellows - who knew they were such wonderful things?? Check the photosite for some more pictures!
Not a lot else to report lately... we've been staying busy with our normal routine! Believe it or not just last week we were having a great time getting to go to the park and play in some really beautiful weather - we are definitely ready for Spring! Jack is such a big boy at the park now - he'll even go down the big twisting slide ALL BY HIMSELF! He's very brave and proud! He's definitely showing his independent streak lately, but he's been a good boy! Must be growing again because he's eating us out of house and home! John keeps telling me just wait until he's 14 then we'll REALLY know what being eaten out of house and home is like, but I swear if the child is awake he's eating!!

Not much on the horizon - we've got the Shamrock Shuffle this weekend which should be a lot of fun and then Easter is the following weekend so we'll have our egg hunt and all! I'll keep on top of the pictures and post again soon! Enjoy these videos - one of Jack playing with his new letters "just like Andrew's" and the other is of him saying he's "all done" shoveling snow and YES he had just begun when the video started...
